"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."— ROMANS 12:2
A nine-month residential Christian recovery program offering Reconciliation, Restoration, and Recovery for women suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. We do not charge any fees — we operate on God's blessings and donations.

His House is a sister recovery home to New Beginnings In Christ. Anna Cowart and Windy Durden have partnered together to offer Reconciliation, Restoration and Recovery for the woman who is suffering from alcohol and drug addiction.
We believe the only way a woman is able to successfully recover is to have a spiritual awakening and accept Jesus Christ as her personal savior. We lead them through the 12 Steps of Recovery in Alcoholics Anonymous and foster a healthy relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The women attend church, daily morning devotion, and regular Recovery and Bible Study meetings. We have more than 30 meetings each week. We do not charge any fees for entering or remaining in our program. We operate on God's blessings and donations. His House is a non-profit 501(c)3 ministry.
In doing this the mind will be clear to make decisions about where and what God is calling her to. We believe that her stay here is a Gift from God. This home is a safe place to become strong in the things of God.
"Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."— ISAIAH 40:31
Our Mission, our Prayer, our Hope is that while a woman is here, her eyes will be opened and her heart will receive Jesus as Lord and allow the Father to do a mighty work in her.
Last year in January I was in jail...again. I had been out running again, strung out...again. I was a lost soul. I ended up going to His House recovery home in Garfield, Ga. I met Ms. Anna Cowart and Miss Windy Durden and I knew that I was in the right place. I have 14 months sober, I'm home with my family, and slowly getting my life back on track. And it never would've happened without His House.

Real women. Real transformation. These are just a few of the lives God has restored through His House.
I have 14 months sober, I'm home with my family, and slowly getting my life back on track. And it never would've happened without His House.
His House Recovery Home saved my life. Physically, spiritually, and mentally. I have a relationship with God that I had never had before.
Jesus and His House completely changed my life. I had given up on ever seeing my daughter again. Because of His House, I have my family back.
A nine-month or longer residential program in Garfield, Georgia. Small by design — we believe limiting numbers allows us to better serve each woman individually.
Daily morning devotion, church services, and 30+ Recovery or Bible Study meetings each week. Jesus Christ is the Higher Power in all 12-step material, related back to the Bible.
Women attend church together, support one another, and build a sober community. Structure, routine, and accountability are central to the program.
We do not charge any fees for entering or remaining in our program. We operate entirely on God's blessings and donations.
The intake process consists of three interviews, which can be conducted by phone. Approval typically takes three days. Once approved, you will be housed as soon as possible.
His Truth Fellowship, 509 5th Avenue, Twin City, GA 30471. Sunday 5pm, Monday 6:30pm Celebrate Recovery, Wednesday 6:30pm Bible Study.
His House is currently serving 27+ women and children in need. There is a great need in the community for the services we offer. Due to the crisis of drugs and alcohol, His House has plans for expansion.
